Vol. 387 No. 4

Written Answers. - Mallow (Cork) General Hospital.

121.

asked the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to a letter sent by the Southern Health Board to Mallow General Hospital, County Cork, outlining its latest proposals; and if it is intended to close the hospital or if he is prepared to give a commitment that the hospital will be maintained and not closed.

It is a matter for the Southern Health Board to decide on the level and range of services that should be provided at Mallow General Hospital within the financial resources available to the board.
