Insurance Bill, 1987 [Seanad]: Announcement.

Notwithstanding the Order of the House today it is proposed that the proceedings in relation to the Committee and Remaining Stages of the Insurance Bill, 1987, shall be brought to a conclusion in accordance with the following timetable, and where proceedings in each case have not concluded by the stated time, they shall be brought to a conclusion by one question which shall be put from the Chair and which shall in relation to amendments include only amendments set down by the Minister for Industry and Commerce: Part I, sections 1 to 10 to conclude not later than 1 p.m.; Part II, sections 11 to 35 to conclude not later than 5 o'clock; Part III, sections 36 to 42 to conclude not later than 6 p.m.; Committee Stage to conclude not later than 9.30 p.m.; and Report and Final Stages to conclude not later than 10.30 p.m.

I understand from what has been said that sections Nos. 1 to 10 must be completed by 1 p.m. This announcement was made at one minute past 1 p.m. Is that in order?

The announcement made just now shall be observed.
