A submission from the Festival of Kerry Organisation has been received in my Department. This is one of a very large number of submissions which has been received in connection with the preparation of proposals for assistance from the EC Structural Funds over the next five years. It will be taken into account in determining the type of measures which will be implemented in the mid-west region over this period.
The selection of individual projects within the measures put forward for assistance will be considered and an assessment will be made after the plan and programmes are approved by the Commission.
