The outgoing board was not dismissed in August 1988 as suggested by the Deputy. The term of office of the members expired on that date and on the expiry of their term I expressed my appreciation to each for the service he had rendered. I did not refuse to meet the board as suggested by the Deputy but due to pre-existing commitments at home and abroad it was not possible to meet the board within the two months in question. This was fully clarified to the board at that time.
