In 1988 my Department allocated grants totalling £84,000 to County Kerry Vocational Education Committee for expenditure on staffing, equipment and capital developments at Cappanalea outdoor education centre.
The Department have now agreed a staffing complement for Cappanalea with County Kerry VEC and funds from the proceeds of the national lottery will be allocated to meet the costs of this staffing structure. Additionally, funds will be allocated in respect of the provision of equipment at the centre.
