The Revenue Commissioners have advised me that a refund of £447 was made to the taxpayer on 30 March 1989 by the payer of his retirement pension. The refund represented the total amount of tax over-deducted from him during the year ended 5 April 1989. There is no further refund due to the taxpayer in respect of that year.
