The funds available to my Department for environmental awareness activities in 1989 will be concentrated on providing a wider range of authoritative information and awareness material on the environment for the benefit of all sections of the community. The improved availability of such material will, inter alia, help in the running of adult education programmes in the area of environmental awareness.
