Vol. 388 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Condition of Prisoner.

12.

asked the Minister for Justice if he has considered the representations of Deputy Brendan Howlin on behalf of a person (details supplied) who is suffering severe depression due to isolation from his family; and if this person can be transferred from Limerick prison to Mountjoy prison.

For reasons relating to the availability of accommodation I am unable at present to authorise a transfer for this offender to Mountjoy Prison. However, the case will be kept under review.
