Vol. 389 No. 1

Written Answers. - County Limerick National School.

116.

asked the Minister for Education if she will proceed with phase 1 of the extension to Crecora national school, County Limerick, without delay, in view of the fact that the prefab there at present continues to deteriorate.

117.

(Limerick East) asked the Minister for Education when the plans for the proposed extension to Crecora national school, County Limerick, will be completed; when tenders will be sought for the building; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 116 and 117 together.

Tender documents for an extension to Crecora national school, County Limerick, which will contain two classrooms, are being prepared. When these documents have been completed the question of the invitation of tenders for the project will arise for consideration in the context of the large number of projects on hands and the capital available for primary schools' building. A decision will be conveyed to the school authorities as early as possible.
