Vol. 389 No. 1

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

45.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when payment of a calf and beef premium will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and the reason for the delay in having payment issued.

The person named has been paid his 1988 calf premium scheme grant already and will be paid his 1988 special beef premium scheme grant shortly.

His 1988 suckler cow premium scheme application cannot, however, be processed further until he forwards, as requested, a form P60 in respect of his off-farm earnings.

46.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason a person (details supplied) in County Kerry has not been paid a milk cessation scheme grant.

Under the terms of a court order my Department was obliged to pay the first two instalments due to the receiver appointed by the court. The order also requires that portion of this year's instalment is to be paid to the receiver while the balance is payable directly to the person named. These latter payments will be made within the next week.

47.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a headage grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cavan; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The person named will be paid his 1988 beef cow, suckler cow and calf premium schemes grants shortly when the pay directions involved are processed by computer. He did not apply for grants under the 1988 special beef premium scheme.
