Vol. 389 No. 1

Written Answers. - Social Welfare Benefits

93.

asked the Minister for Health when the application of a person (details supplied) in County Kerry for a disabled person's maintenance allowance was resubmitted to the Southern Health Board; when it is expected that this application will be decided from a medical point of view; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The processing of an application for a disabled person's maintenance allowance in any individual case is a matter for the health board concerned. Accordingly, the Deputy's question has been referred to the Chief Executive Officer, Southern Health Board, with a request that he examine the matter and reply directly to the Deputy.
