Vol. 389 No. 4
asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food, in relation to the disadvantaged areas scheme review currently in progress the value, if any, which is being placed on calves in terms of livestock unit measurement.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food whether steps will be taken to survey townlands seeking reclassification under the current review of the disadvantaged areas scheme where there is no household in the townland.
I propose taking Questions Nos. 104 and 105 together.
In accordance with EC Regulations governing the disadvantaged areas schemes, a calf of 6 months to 24 months of age is valued at 0.6 livestock unit in the survey now in progress.
Townlands without households are being surveyed on request as are townlands with households.
