Vol. 389 No. 5

Written Answers. - Disadvantaged Areas Scheme.

69.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason a full headage payment has not been made to a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath.

The person named has already been paid in full under the 1988 disadvantaged areas schemes. Because of his high stocking rate, his claim for livestock headage grants exceeded the allowable limit of £18.21 per acre (£45 per hectare) and was accordingly restricted to that amount for each of his 22 acres.
