Provision is made in the annual financial scheme for County Meath Vocational Education Committee in respect of travel expenses of the committee members and staff, including teacher travel costs. No specific amount is identified for the purpose of teacher travel by my Department. The actual amount necessary is a matter for the VEC to determine having regard to certain parameters laid down by my Department.
