I have received a request to meet such a deputation. As, however, the housing capital allocations, which were notified to local authorities earlier this year, were determined in the most equitable manner possible having regard to the relative need of each authority and the funds available for the programme nationally no useful purpose would be served by the meeting referred to by the Deputy.
