asked the Minister for the Environment if he will list each local authority tenant purchase scheme currently in operation; in relation to each scheme, the number of persons currently paying under each scheme; and the interest rates being charged for each scheme.

As the administration of tenant purchase schemes is a matter for local authorities, the information sought by the Deputy in relation to individual schemes is not available in the Department. The Department's Annual Bulletin of Housing Statistics gives information on the number of houses purchased each year from local authorities. The following details of interest rates charged under recent schemes may be of use to the Deputy:
