My Department were represented at this seminar. The papers presented covered a wide range of topics, including environmental legislation, environmental impact assessment, air pollution, treatment and management of industrial wastes, monitoring and noise. The papers will be taken into account, as appropriate, in the development of policies and programmes in the areas to which they relate.
