Finn Valley Athletic Club, County Donegal, has been designated a local sports centre with a capital grant allocation of £300,000 from the proceeds of the national lottery.
My Department are in contact with the club to progress the futher planning of the project.
The project includes the renovation and extension of the existing facility and the provision of a 400 metre running track. It is not possible to say at this stage when work will commence.
