Tullamore Harriers Athletic Club, County Offaly, has been designated a local sports centre with a capital grant allocation of £300,000 from the proceeds of the national lottery.
My Department are in contact with the club who are at present undertaking the necessary planning work for the project, following completion of which I will be in a position to authorise the commencement of work.
Payment of the grant will be made in instalments as work proceeds on foot of certificates issued by the club's professional consultants.
