Vol. 389 No. 7

Written Answers. - Milk Quota.

87.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if a person (details supplied) in County Cork will be considered for a milk quota.

The person indicated joined the national cessation scheme established at the end of 1984. Under the terms of the scheme he undertook, to cease milk production "definitively" i.e. as long as the quota system remained in operation. Accordingly he cannot be allocated a quota and can only return to milk production if and when the quota system ends.
