Vol. 390 No. 3

Written Answers. - Dental Fees Tax.

44.

asked the Minister for Finance the EC countries, including Ireland, in which a withholding tax or similar form of taxation is deducted from a gross fee paid to dentists for dental treatment provided under the State insurance schemes; and the rates of such tax.

The Revenue Commissioners have advised me that they have not got the information which would enable the material sought in the question to be provided. They will, however, endeavour to secure the relevant information from the countries concerned and I shall write to the Deputy as soon as it becomes available.
