Vol. 390 No. 5

Written Answers. - Services for the Autistic.

67.

asked the Minister for Health if he will give details of the location on which he is proposing to provide a further 12 residential places for autistic children and adults on the north-side of Dublin and the day-care facilities for approximately 20 people referred to in his reply to Parliamentary Questions Nos. 236, 237, 238, 241 and 243 of 12 April, 1989.

While a suitable location adjacent to Beaumont has been identified, negotiations with the present owners have not been concluded. In the circumstances, it would be inappropriate at this stage to provide the information sought by the Deputy. I will, however, communicate with the Deputy when the arrangements are finalised.
