Vol. 390 No. 5

Written Answers. - Pupil-Teacher Ratio.

69.

asked the Minister for Education whether she has resolved the situation in a school (details supplied) in Dublin 5 whereby the girls' school is treated as a priority for differential pupil-teacher ratios but the boys' school is not; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

I would refer the Deputy to my reply to Question No. 3 of 17 May 1989 which set out the position regarding such anomalies in relation to the staffing of schools serving disadvantaged areas.
