I wish to inform the House as a matter of courtesy that I am today advising the President, pursuant to Article 13 of the Constitution, to dissolve Dáil Éireann and to summon the incoming Dáil to meet at 3 p.m. on Thursday, 29 June 1989. Go n-éirí an t-ádh libh go léir.

I am glad the Taoiseach has finally made up his mind. We must him that we will hound and harass him all around the country and he will not find himself on that side of the House next time.
