The Radio Tara (Atlantic 252) service is covered by the licence issued to RTE on 31 March 1989 pursuant to section 16 (3) of the Broadcasting Authority Act, 1960 — Part 5 of the Schedule thereto refers. A copy of the said licence, which sets out the conditions under which RTE services must operate, was laid before both Houses of the Oireachtas on 5 April 1989.
