Vol. 392 No. 4

Written Answers. - Dromina (Cork) School Proposal.

175.

asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding the provision of a new school at Dromina, Charleville, County Cork; whether funds are available to begin this project; whether tenders have been invited; and, if not, when they will be invited.

The question of the provision of a new national school at Dromina, Charleville, County Cork is being considered urgently in my Department in the context of the capital available for primary schools' building. A decision will be conveyed to the school authorities at the earliest possible date.

I am not in a position, at this stage, to say when tenders will be invited for the project.
