asked the Minister for Education if she will sanction the appointment of a remedial teacher at San Carlo senior school, Confey, Leixlip, County Kildare; if her attention has been drawn to the need for such an appointment in the area; if she will make provision for this appointment in the context of the 1990 Estimates; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

187.

asked the Minister for Education if she will allocate a remedial teacher to St. Helen's national school, Portmarnock, County Dublin as this school has in excess of 500 pupils and has no remedial help.

195.

asked the Minister for Education if she will ensure that a remedial teacher is provided for two schools (details supplied) in County Waterford; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 175, 187 and 195 together.

The question of making provision for additional appointments as remedial teachers in the current school year is at present receiving active attention in my Department.
