Officials of my Department have already had discussions with representatives of the school authorities from Fethard, County Tipperary at a meeting on 26 October 1989 regarding a revised proposal in respect of accommodation requirements for a single amalgamated school in the centre. My Department is currently awaiting a response from the school authorities. Further to a request from my colleague, Noel Davern, T.D., I myself have agreed to a meeting with the school authorities on Tuesday, 21 November.
