Vol. 392 No. 7

Written Answers. - Parents Alone Resource Centre Coolock (Dublin).

106.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare the provision he is making to ensure the continued funding of the Parents Alone Resource Centre in Coolock, Dublin 5; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The Parents Alone Resource Centre is one of the nine Irish projects participating in the Second EC Poverty Programme which ends this month.

In June 1989, the Council of Ministers adopted the Commission's proposals for a Third EC Poverty Programme which is to commence in December 1989. The selection process for projects wishing to participate in the third programme has been completed at national level and the Parents Alone Resource Centre is one of the projects which have been recommended by the Government to the Commission for funding under the new programme.
