Vol. 392 No. 8

Written Answers. - Castlepollard (Westmeath) Sewerage Scheme.

88.

asked the Minister for the Environment if, in light of the prosecution of Westmeath County Council for pollution caused by the sewerage system in Castlepollard, County Westmeath, he intends to include a sum of money in the 1990 Estimates to have remedial work carried out on this sewerage scheme.

Having regard to the capital available for the overall sanitary services programme and the existing level of commitments, it is not possible to indicate when the necessary funds will be available for this scheme.
