Vol. 393 No. 1

Written Answers. - Tax Free Allowance.

105.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will grant a tax free allowance and an immediate refund of tax due to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

The Revenue Commissioners have advised me that the inspector of taxes wrote to the taxpayer on 10 October 1989 for the information required to enable a certificate of tax free allowances on a cumulative basis to be issued to her. No reply has been received to date. On receipt of the required details a certificate of tax free allowances will be issued. Any tax over-deducted from her earnings since the date of recommencement will be refundable to her by her employer on operation of that certificate.
