asked the Minister for Justice if his attention has been drawn to the disquiet in Lismore and Tallow, County Waterford, due to the speculation that Garda strength is to be reduced in both towns; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The detailed allocation of Garda manpower is a matter for the Garda authorities who inform me that no reduction in the strength assigned to Lismore and Tallow Garda stations is planned.
