Vol. 394 No. 3

Written Answers. - Car Damage Victims.

61.

asked the Minister for Justice if he will take steps to ensure that persons whose cars are being interfered with and damaged are adequately protected and that the attackers are fully pursued, with particular reference to the case of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 6.

It is a matter for the Garda Síochána to take whatever action may be appropriate in matters of this kind. I am informed by the Garda authorities that all such incidents which are reported to them are fully investigated and criminal proceedings are instituted where possible and appropriate.
