asked the Minister for Education the number of students in University College, Cork faculty by faculty in (a) 1987 (b) 1988 and (c) 1989; and the plans if any, she has to increase the number of third level places in that university.

In response to the Deputy's question I have supplied the details in the attached tables. The question of increasing the number of student places in University College, Cork, is a matter for the college authorities.
