Vol. 394 No. 4

Written Answers. - Milk Quota.

125.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food, in the case of a farmer who participated in the non-marketing of milk scheme and who sells a portion of his land following the Mulder ruling under EC regulations where part of a quota is restored, whether the purchaser of portion of the land should be entitled to part of the quota.

Quotas allocated as a result of the Mulder ruling may not be transferred by way of sale or lease of land. In the case of such a sale or lease, all or part of the quota would revert to the community reserve.
