(Limerick East) asked the Minister for the Environment if he will list the number of bodies for which establishment orders have been made pursuant to the provisions of the Local Government Services (Corporate Bodies) Act, 1971, since the enactment of this statute.

Establishment orders have been made under the Local Government Services (Corporate Bodies) Act, 1971, in respect of six bodies. Two of these orders were subsequently revoked. The existing bodies are the Local Government Computer Services Board, the Local Government Staff Negotiations Board, the National Safety Council and the Environmental Research Unit.
