Vol. 394 No. 5

Written Answers. - County Monaghan Retail Trade.

66.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will meet with representatives of the chambers of commerce in County Monaghan with a view to exploring with them ways in which the livelihood of retail traders in County Monaghan can be made secure.

I regret that due to my busy schedule I will be unable to meet a delegation from the chambers of commerce in County Monaghan. I have, however, indicated to the Chambers of Commerce of Ireland that I am agreeable to a pre-budget discussion with them and matters of concern to all chambers of commerce can be discussed at this meeting.
