Question:126 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Finance the reason for the delay in payment of a tax rebate to a person (details supplied) in County Louth; and when payment will be made.

The Revenue Commissioners have advised me that a review of the taxpayer's liability to tax for 1988-89 revealed an overpayment of £23.27. A cheque in settlement will be issued to him within the next ten days.
