Question:

135 Mr. Rabbitte asked the Minister for Finance if he will give the following information for the grades of clerical officer, clerical assistant, paperkeeper and messenger in the Civil Service: (a) the number of males and females at present serving in each of the grades, according to the most recent figures and (b) the year in which these grades ceased to be single-sex grades.

The information sought by the Deputy is set out in the following table:
