186 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the steps he proposes to take in the distribution of the additional 11 million gallon quota in order to ensure its distribution to genuine smaller producers and not to quota holders who intend to use their quota for further leasing.

I will be making an announcement very shortly outlining my decisions on the allocation of the 11 million gallons of quota. As I have already indicated I will be giving priority to genuine small scale producers and new entrants who intend to remain in milk production.
