195 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when the grant for a slatted unit will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry.

196 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the way in which the rate of payment for a farm improvement grant was calculated in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Wexford; if full entitlement is being paid, the rate at which the grant is paid; and if it will be increased.

Grant aid under the investment aid schemes operated by my Department is based on standard national costings. In this case the amount of aid was calculated at the rate of 45 per cent of the appropriate standard costings and was the maximum payable for the works carried out.

Question:

197 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will arrange payment of an installation aid grant to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny.

The grant in this case cannot be paid until the applicant satisfies certain requirements of the Land Registry.
