Vol. 394 No. 8

Written Answers. - County Cork Housing Development.

Michael Creed

Question:

351 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for the Environment if he is satisfied that a housing development (details supplied) in County Cork which was grant aided by his Department for the provision of sheltered housing for the elderly is operating in a manner which complies with all the regulations necessary for qualification for inclusion in the said scheme.

Responsibility for ensuring that individual housing projects comply with the conditions of the voluntary housing scheme rests with the housing authority in whose area the project is located. The authority concerned has indicated that it has no reason to believe that the requirements of the scheme are not being fulfilled.
