Question:447 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Education whether she has considered a request from Dublin City University for funds to upgrade its library; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

A request specifically related to the upgrading of the library at the Dublin City University has not been received by the Higher Education Authority.
The question is being considered, however, as part of the consideration being given to the proposals from the University for an overall expansion in its facilities. I hope to be in a position to take a decision on these proposals in the near future.
