Vol. 395 No. 7

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Ivan Yates

Question:

85 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a farm improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Carlow.

Payment of the grant will be processed when the farm inspection visit fee, which was recently requested from the applicant, is received.

John O'Leary

Question:

86 Mr. O'Leary asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the date on which an application for a young farmer's installation grant was received by his Department from a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; the present position in this regard; and when payment will be made.

I expect that this application — which was received from Teagasc in October last — will be determined shortly. If the applicant is found to be eligible payment will be made as soon as possible.
