Vol. 395 No. 9

Written Answers. - CERT Courses.

Eric J. Byrne

Question:

165 Mr. Byrne asked the Minister for Labour if he will give an assurance that the CERT courses which have traditionally been provided in the Great Southern Hotel, Rosslare, County Wexford will continue to be provided in the Wexford area; if so, the centres which are being considered; and the numbers which are projected for courses in the area.

CERT could not give an assurance that courses run in a particular area will continue. When selecting a temporary training centre CERT consider properties in any area of the country which can provide the necessary facilities for the provision of quality training and where demand for courses exists.
