Vol. 395 No. 9

Written Answers. - Grant and Mortgage Subsidy Payments.

Willie O'Dea

Question:

231 Mr. O'Dea asked the Minister for the Environment when a mortgage subsidy will issue to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick.

The third instalment of the mortgage subsidy has been paid to Limerick County Council for crediting to the applicant's account.

Gerry O'Sullivan

Question:

232 Mr. G. O'Sullivan asked the Minister for the Environment the reason a house improvement grant was not paid to a person (details supplied) in Cork.

A £5,000 "surrender" grant was paid in respect of the house in 1986. This debars the applicant from obtaining a house improvement grant, other than for the provision of a bathroom.
