Jimmy Deenihan

Question:

296 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Education if she will provide a general purpose room for the new national school at Castlegregory, County Kerry.

In accordance with the policies which have been in place since 1987 for primary schools building priority must be given to essential classroom accommodation and other necessary facilities.

The Castlegregory national school project which is now virtually completed was approved and agreed on the basis of five classrooms and a staff room.
