102 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Finance if his attention has been drawn to the instability of the banks of the canal feeder at Robertstown, County Kildare; if he intends to take any action to improve the condition of the banks in question; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
I assume that this question refers to the Milltown feeder which enters the Grand Canal near Lowtown. A recent inspection of the banks of the feeder by the Office of Public Works did not reveal any evidence of instability. However, if the Deputy wishes to furnish me with more specific details, the matter will be further investigated.
