Question:114 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for the Marine the amount and value of nets confiscated by fishery board area, for each year since 1987; and the amount realised by way of the sale of such nets.

Confiscation of nets is a matter for the regional fisheries boards. My Department does not have the information sought by the Deputy. I suggest that the Deputy should contact the boards directly.
