Question:116 Mr. McCartan asked the Minister for the Marine if he has made a decision on the future use or disposal of the yacht club premises on the West Pier in Howth, Dublin 13.

Legal responsibility for Howth harbour was assumed by my Department on 1 January 1990. Proposals for the use of the old yacht club premises have been formulated and their consideration is at an advanced stage. I expect to make a decision on the matter shortly.
